Woman carjacked in front of her Brooksville home

Brooksville, Florida -- The Brooksville Police Department is investigating a carjacking that occurred late Wednesday night.

The woman told police she was walking to the front door of her home in the 800 block of Peach Street around 10:40 p.m. when she was approached by a armed man who pointed a gun at her and demanded her keys, wallet and cell phone.

The woman gave him her keys and he drove away in her car -- a teal 2006 Buick Lucerne with 22-inch chrome rims with FL tag 135LJD.

She described the man as a slender black man who was last seen wearing gray pants, a red shirt, a red doo rag and a red bandana over his face.
