Lakeland, FL - Earlier this morning a FedEx semi was traveling eastbound on I-4 in the outside lane approaching the exit ramp to Kathleen Road. Miguer Manzano, driver, attempted to keep control of the semi when he then went onto the shoulder and collided with the guardrail. After the impact, he then collided with a railroad support pier for the railroad overpass. The crash caused his trailer, which included a double tandem trailer combination, to lose it load of packages which were scattered across the eastbound lanes of I-4. The crash closed the roadway for over four hours.
