Woman robs Circle K for cigarettes

Lakeland, Florida -- Police are looking for information regarding a robbery that occurred early Saturday morning. 

On April 6, around 2:30 a.m. a black female entered the Circle K convenience store on Highway 93 East. 

The female suspect went behind the counter and took a pack of cigarettes. When the store clerk told the suspect she must pay for the cigarettes, the suspect battered the victim and fled the store with the unpaid cigarettes. 

Store video surveillance captured the suspect's image and she has been identified as 28-year-old Shonta Denise Wynn. She is descried as:

  • Approximately 5'7" 
  • Weighing approximately 270 pounds
  • Last seen driving a green, four door 1994 Mercury with tinted windows, three after-market rims, one stock rim, with FL tag M615KX. 

Wynn has three active warrants in addition to the robbery and aggravated battery charges in this investigation.
