St. Petersburg, Florida -- A man accused of escaping a work release program and murdering two men pleaded guilty to murder Monday.
36-year-old Michael Norris was facing the death penalty for murdering Bruce Johnson and Arthur Regula who he shot to death after walking away from the Goodwill Largo work release facility he was staying at.
After shooting the two men, Morris set the house on fire to cover up the crime.
Once he entered his plea, the judge immediately sentenced Michael Norris to life in prison.
