Sarasota, Florida -- A Sarasota County school bus driver was arrested Friday for allegedly touching a student inappropriately last week.

The 16-year-old girl told police she was the last person on the bus with 51-year-old Javier Aramayo-Angeles when he took a different route and pulled over on the side of the road on Sarabay Drive. He then reportedly told her to walk to the front of the bus and sit down.

When she sat on the right side next to the driver's seat, he got up and sat down next to her and commented about her appearance. He then began to massage her shoulders and neck area from behind and moved down to her lower back area and around to her stomach, according to the police report.

He then kissed her on both cheeks, her forehead and twice on the lips. When he asked her to reciprocate, she refused and demanded her take her home where she immediately told her father about the incident who called school officials.

In an interview with detectives, the girl told them she didn't initially resist due to the shock of the situation. She also told them Aramayo-Angeles had given her his cell phone number at the beginning of the school year which she showed to police was saved in her cell phone as "Javier Bus".

Detectives confirmed the number was Aramayo-Angeles and arrested him for battery and has since been released on $1,000 bond.
