WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. - Many in the Bay Area are gearing up for a weekend of shopping, to finish up their Christmas list. And there should be some pretty good deals out there for shoppers along with extended hours.

According to Target, they've got a last minute sale from now until Christmas Eve, with some items even half off! Toys "R" Us is staying open for 88 hours straight and says they have 80% off doorbusters. Macy's is staying open 48 hours straight and say they have the best deals of the year going on.

Shoppers we caught up with at the Toys "R" Us in Wesley Chapel are already taking advantage.

"It's amazing and they're having really good sales. Usually Black Friday is the big day, but they're still having buy one, get one 50% off," said Gabino Sanemeterio.

According to the Florida Retail Federation, the Saturday before Christmas is traditionally the busiest day in sales for retailers. So shoppers should see some pretty big bargains.

"A lot of retailers have saved up the best for last. For retailers this is the last two minutes of the fourth quarter of the football game. They've been running specials and promotions all Holiday season since Thanksgiving to keep people coming out to the stores and they're going to continue that and probably ramp it up just a little bit for this weekend," said John Fleming, with the FRF.

The FRF said this could be a make or break weekend for many retailers.
