Winter-like temperatures will be felt across the Tampa Bay area overnight into Saturday morning.  A freeze warning is in effect for Pasco, Hernando, and Sumter counties from 2am until 9am on Saturday.  Gusty northwest winds will continue to usher in the coldest air of the season with lows dropping into the upper 20's and low 30's for portions of the Nature Coast, upper 30's and low 40's for interior areas, and mid to upper 40's for southern coastal zones.  The strong northwest winds will continue to push a decent swell toward the coast resulting in 4 - 6 feet surf in the Gulf.  The risk for rip currents also remains high.

On Sunday we will begin a warming trend as high pressure shifts east resulting in winds veering to the east and eventually to the southeast.  High temperatures will climb into the upper 70's by Christmas Day.  Another strong cold front will move through the forecast area on Wednesday, bringing with it a 30% chance of showers and storms.
