Woman robs Regions Bank in Town 'N Country area

Tampa, Florida -- Hillsborough County detectives are asking for the public's help identifying the woman who robbed a Tampa bank Saturday morning.

The sheriff's office says the woman walked into the Regions Bank in the 6200 block of West Waters Avenue at 10:24 a.m. and passed the teller a demand note. After leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash, she then fled on foot. 

The woman is described as approximately 5'1", 100-120 pounds, 30-40 years old and has dirty blond hair that was pulled in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing sunglasses, green khaki hat, gray hoodie, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

Anyone with any information reference the suspect is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 247-8200 or anyone with any information regarding the identity and whereabouts of this suspect and who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477), report anonymously online at www.crimestopperstb.com or text "CSTB plus your tip" to C-R-I-M-E-S (274637).
