Gulfport, Florida -- Suspicious fires that have plagued the Gulfport community for the last five years has police asking for the public's help.
Gulfport Police says most of the fires have been sent in alleyways to items such as brush, trees, fences and garbage. So far, 31 reported fires appear to be related by location, time of day and method, investigators say --with 10 this year alone.
Police say they believe the same person is responsible for the fires and are asking the public to help monitor alleyways and report any suspicious people by calling 582-6177.
