Spring Hill, FL-- On Thanksgiving Day, Hernando deputies arrested four teens after they robbed multiple vehicles and attempted to break in to an occupied home.

It was early in the morning when officials received a call from a homeowner off of Horizon Dr. saying several people were attempting to break in to her home from the back lanai.

Patrol deputies, a K-9, team and the air unit responded. Though the K-9 Handler was the first to arrive on scene, the air unit spotted four subjects walking nearby, and alerted other officials of their location.

The four subjects reportedly had a walking cane, silver rings, and a backpack full of various items- all suspicious to deputies.

The teens were read their Miranda rights, and then admitted to "car hopping," or burglarizing vehicles, off of Pemberton St., McCormick St. and Vicksburg Rd.

The owners of the vehicles were contacted and given back their belongings.

18-year-old Brittany Pence, 20-year-old Johnathan Robert Burke and 23-year-old Justin Kyle Faulkner were all transported to the Hernando County Detention Center on various charges.

Reports say one other subject, a 17-year-old, was transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
