Greystar: Property Accountant

Apply generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to perform various accounting functions, to include:

  • Compiles and analyzes financial information
  • Reviews budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents
  • Performs bank reconciliations and wire transfers for deposit, makes mortgage payments and distributions, and
    Maintains and coordinates accounting control procedures
  • Analyzes and reviews accounting and financial resources for property acquisitions, dispositions, and closings and budgets and expenditures for local, state, federal, private funding, contracts, grants, and other corporate financial
  • Communicates with on-site and other property managers
  • Completes various financial, accounting, administrative, and other reports and analysis
  • Acts as liaison to internal and external auditors and accounting transactions.

This position requires line level cooking during breakfast and dinner shifts. Create weekly schedules where staffing levels are dictated by occupancy levels or special events.  Maintain weekly inventory levels while keeping food costs to a minimum.  Supervise 10 - 12 employees while implementing and inforcing house policies.  Cunduct regular meetings with service staff and maintain open communication with management.

Gerdau: Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst (FP&A)

 The Financial Analyst function within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) group is an individual contributor role supporting the FP&A Managers for Planning and Strategy, Operations Management, and Business Development.  This position will be responsible for performing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual analysis of actual results to better understand how they compare to forecasted/planned performance.  Goals of analytic activities are to confirm current actions are achieving desired results, identify new areas for improvement or challenges to achieving desired results, and improving the overall capability of the various Corporate or Operational functions to forecast desired results.

Works directly with (or in tandem with their respective FP&A Manager) a Process Leader and their team to monitor, analyze and improve results.

Participates in Process Leader team meetings (as appropriate) to ensure current analyses are providing value and to identify where new areas of analysis need to be developed.

Works with location controllers to ensure analysis and/or improvement activities are communicated to the appropriate level of accountability to achieve desired results.

Travel requirements will be minimal as these roles will generally support analysis of a corporate group or a Mill Operations VP/GM, the majority of which are in the Corporate Office.   The analyst supporting the FP&A Manager for Business Development may have periods of travel related to the type of projects being worked on at the time.

SRI Surgical: Tax Accountant

Responsibilities of position will include working directly with Controller or designee on Sales & Use, Property and Federal, State and Local income tax requirements.  Additionally, position will be responsible for maintaining the fixed assets sub ledger system, various general ledger accounts, including account maintenance and analysis, along with weekly and monthly internal reporting requirements and working directly with internal and external auditors.
