Dade City, Florida -- A Pasco man picked the wrong spot to illegally set off exposives.
Investigators say a Pasco County Sheriff's deputy heard an explosion and felt a rumble while inside his home Sunday night.
The deputy went outside and found 19-year-old Luis Javier Godinez nearby. Godinez allegedly set off a "quarter stick" of explosives in the water near some rocks at the Green Swamp West. Godinez also had nine more quarter sticks on him.
