Tampa, Florida -- Tickets to the 2013 Outback Bowl, the area's annual major college football post-season bowl game, will go on sale to the general public through Ticketmaster this Saturday, Sept. 1 at 10 a.m.
The bowl will play host to teams from the Big Ten Conference and Southeastern Conference on Tuesday, Jan. 1 in Raymond James Stadium. Kick-off time is 1 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to buy their tickets early. Tickets to the game are $75 each (plus Ticketmaster service charge). Phone orders can be placed with a credit card by calling Ticketmaster at (813) 287-8844 or 1-800-745-3000 and can be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets can also be purchased at any Ticketmaster outlet in the state of Florida.

The Outback Bowl will host its 27th game this season. The Bowl attracts an average of 40,000 out of market visitors from more than 40 states each year and has contributed more than $100 million to universities over its history. It has also generated an estimated $1 billion economic impact on the Tampa Bay area over this time in addition to millions of dollars of free exposure for the community each year.
