BROOKSVILLE, Florida (AP) - A Tampa Bay area man has been sentenced to 35 years in prison for killing a man over a domestic argument.
A Hernando County judge sentenced 26-year-old Julius Holder on Wednesday. He pleaded guilty in April to second-degree murder.
Authorities say 30-year-old Kenardo Frazer got into an argument with 27-year-old Dunell Brown in March 2011 after Frazer threatened a woman at a home where both men had been staying. Brown, Holder and 33-year-old Charles Bottom later tracked down Frazer, and Holder fatally shot Frazer with a 9mm pistol in front of a Brooksville home.
The Tampa Bay Times reports that Brown pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced in June to 25 years in prison. At the same hearing, Bottom pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to 12 years.
