Children in stroller hit in Pinellas Park crash

Pinellas Park, Florida -- Pinellas Park Police are on scene of an accident where two children were reportedly thrown from a stroller.

It happened Friday morning at US 19 and 66th Avenue, in front of the Sears Lokey Auto Center.

The two children were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Three adults were also hospitalized.

Based on preliminary information, police say a car driving westbound on 66th Avenue ran a red light and crashed into a car going northbound on US 19. One of the vehicles then hit a an adult pedestrian and two children who were in the stroller.
