LEGOLAND Florida officially bounces over Guinness World Record

Winter Haven, Florida -- It's official. LEGOLAND Florida has beaten the Guinness World Record for the most people keeping beach balls in the air.

Guinness released the results Thursday of the May 24 attempt. The previous record of 401 was smashed by LEGOLAND with 1,294 beach balls in the air at the same time.

The attempt was part of a celebration in honor of the park's new water park attraction which later opened on May 30.
