Clearwater, Florida -- Clearwater police say an overnight double shooting appears to have been a murder-suicide.

Investigators say 33-year-old Eugene Agbebaku and his wife Ingrid were going through a divorce, and had a court hearing scheduled for Tuesday.

Eugene is believed to have broken into Ingrid's Clearwater condo, and shot and killed her. He later exited the residence and shot himself.

Eugene had been arrested as part of a Polk County sex sting back in February.

A press release from the Polk SO stated the following about Eugene's arrest:

32-year-old Eugene Agbebaku of Wesley Chapel solicited a female detective for sex in exchange for money. Agbebaku is married and a father who lives in Hillsborough County but works in Polk County as a UPS driver. Agbebaku requested not to use a condom.  Later told detectives he wanted to contract a disease.  He admitted to being a sex addict who solicits prostitutes three to four times a week for unprotected sex.
