Riverview, Florida -- Authorities have reopened all lanes at Hwy 301 and Big Bend Road after an overturned semi trailer caused lane closures Tuesday afternoon.

The FHP says around 1:18 p.m., a 2011 Mack Truck towing a trailer full of fertilizer was heading north on U.S. Hwy 301 south of Big Bend Road in the left turn lane. When the truck came to the turn, the driver, 25-year-old Jesse Lovelace, tried to make the turn at a high rate of speed and the trailer overturned on its right side spilling its load.

The sheriff's office says the right two lanes of southbound Hwy 301 and the right lane of Big Bend Road westbound have been reopened, however, as of 3:30 p.m. motorists are still experiencing some delays.

Lovelace was not injured and was charged with failure to use due care.
