Tampa, Florida -- Florida law already requires you to buckle up, but this week, law enforcement across the state will have a closer eye on drivers and front seat passengers starting today as part of the 'Click it or Ticket' campaign.
National Highway Traffic Safety Administration stats show safety belts saved more than 12,500 lives in 2010.
Just a reminder, Florida law requires all front seat drivers and passengers to buckle up. All occupants under the age of 18 must buckle up, regardless of where they are sitting in the vehicle.
The 'Click or Ticket' safety campaign runs through June 3rd.
