We are really heating up this morning, quickly into the 80s and topping out in the 90s. I have bumped up our rain chances to 30% along the immediate coast, the seabreeze as the ESE winds have weakened just enough to allow an onshore flow to develop this afternoon. That's just enough to help produce a shower or two.
The heat is on for the Bay area this week as we continue to top out in the upper 80s to low 90s the next few days. Lakeland tied a record high yesterday of 92 while Tampa reach 91! The average high this time of year is 85.
Rain chances are slim with a 30% chance today and only 10% on Thursday followed by mainly dry conditions through Saturday. A few showers will pop up Sunday with a better (30%) chance on Monday.
Today: Partly sunny, warm & humid. There is a slight chance for stray afternoon shower. Winds ESE 10-15 mph with a high of 90.
Tonight: Partly cloudy, mild and muggy. Lows in the upper 60s to low 70s with light E winds.
