Town 'N' Country -- A man and woman arrested in connection to a car wash robbery admit to detectives to nearly 20 burgalries in the Tampa area.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, on Jan. 20, detectives arrested 32-year-old James Marston and 26-year-old Stacey Sacco after developing information Marston was connected to a burglary at the Tampa Car Wash, at 5807 Memorial Highway.
Sacco was in the car at the time police arrested Marston during a traffic stop. While in custody, police say the two admitted to committing 19 residential and business burglaries in western Hillsborough.
During the investigation, Marston and Sacco told detectives they would take the stolen items to a man and woman at 10101 Royal Acres Court in the Timberlake subdivision.
At the home, detectives seized items from several different sheriff's office cases, including:
- 4 televisions
- 1 DVD player
- 1 jigsaw
- 1 laptop
- 3 weed eaters
- 2 chain saws
- 1 lawn mover
Miscellaneous pills, crack cocaine residue and marijuana, along with $1,210 in cash, were also seized from the home.
Marston, of 8314 June Street, is charged with Burglary of an Unoccupied Dwelling (4 counts), Grand Theft (4 counts), Obstructing or Opposing an Officer w/o violence, Obstruction by Disguised Person.
Sacco, of 7101 Creek Drive W, is charged with Burglary of an Occupied Dwelling, Burglary of an Unoccupied Dwelling, Grand Theft (2 counts).
Michael Spaide, 48, of 10101 Royal Acres Court, is charged with Possession of Marijuana.
Sherrie Levy, 43, of 10101 Royal Acres Court, is charged with Possession of Controlled Substance (4 counts), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (24 counts), Dealing in Stolen Property (8 counts).
Alan Wingereid, 54, of 10101 Royal Acres Court, was arrested for Dealing in Stolen Property (8 counts).
