St. Petersburg, Florida -- As you know, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A Bay area-based charity is featured in this month's O Magazine.
Alissa Savoretti founded My Hope Chest after her own battle with breast cancer. The charity helps uninsured breast cancer survivors get reconstruction, pooling surgical resources from all over the country.
Savoretti is honored in the magazine for her efforts.
