Update: If you missed this year's event, organizers are already getting ready for next year. In the meantime, you can get answers to your health questions, by logging on to the Focus on the Females website.
TAMPA, Fla. -- From cardiovascular to breast care to bone health, ladies can get the answers they need at a free symposium tomorrow at the Tampa Convention Center.
The 7th Annual Focus on Females event features nearly two dozen doctors chatting about a wide range of women's health issues. Many people complain about aches and pains as they age, but women are being proactive and not waiting until they're seniors to find out if they're eligible for a hip or knee replacement that could vastly improve their quality of life.
Florida Hospital Tampa Dr. Stephen Raterman is an orthopaedic surgeon and is speaking at the free event. He primarily focuses on the hip, knee, and shoulder. He says women are more likely to take action when they're in chronic pain.
You can check out the Florida Hospital symposium at the Tampa Convention Center starting at 8 a.m. Registration is recommended for the free event.
