Moffit Healthy Kidz Program helps prevent melanoma through education programs

St. Petersburg, Fl. - This summer it's important for parents to remember that working to prevent melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer starts during childhood.

One or more blistering sunburns in childhood or adolescence more than doubles a person's chances of developing melanoma later on.

Prevention goes way past slathering on sunscreen when you take the kids outside.
