MIAMI, Florida (CBSMiami) -- One teen is dead and several others were
seriously injured in a crash on the Julia Tuttle Causeway Saturday,
causing lanes to close.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, seven people were seriously
injured in the roll over crash. One of the seven, a 14-year old girl,
has died. The other six are being treated at Ryder Trauma Center.
Only one vehicle is confirmed to be involved.
All westbound lanes were closed for hours but have been reopened.
The Florida Highway Patrol is working to determine what caused the
driver to apparently lose control and go off the side of the road.
