America's State Parks host First Day Hike

Florida-- With 2014 just hours away, you may be looking for ways to ring in the new year. If that's the case, the state of Florida has an interesting idea for you.

How about hiking your way to the new year? The Florida Park service thinks reconnecting with nature is a great way to exercise, enjoy nature and welcome 2014 with friends and family.

A total of 48 events will take place around the state.
