Sanibel Island, Florida -- Shore Haven, the 1924 Sears & Roebuck kit house, resumes its journey to Sanibel Historical Museum & Village Tuesday night, structural mover Tom Doyle III said.

The house was donated to the museum and village. It made the first leg of the trip on Friday by barge along San Carlos Bay.

Sanibel officials say that between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 4 a.m. Wednesday, several LCEC customers on the island are likely to lose power from anywhere between 30 minutes to two hours.

The planned outages will allow the electric utility to disconnect power lines along Shore Haven's route along Dixie Beach Boulevard and Periwinkle Way.

At the historical museum and village, the home will join several other structures steeped in the island's past. The attraction closes for summer and early fall, but is scheduled to reopen November 7.
