Orlando, Florida (FL Today) -- An 18-year-old Titusville woman was one of three people killed in a traffic crash that also took the lives of two men wanted for questioning in connection with an Orlando homicide.

The deadly traffic crash happened at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Princeton Street and Mercy Drive.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers report that 18-year-old Keyonda Fordum died of her injuries at the Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Two men, identified as Tyreshall Pond, 18, and Frank Whack, 18, both of Orlando, were also killed in the crash. Officials did not explain Fordum's connection to the two men.

Authorities reported that the three, along with two others that survived, were in a 2006 Chevy Impala that was being pursued by Orlando police when the crash happened.

Florida Highway Patrol investigators reported that the driver of the Impala lost control of the car, crossed the median and rolled across Princeton Street.

The vehicle then ran into a nearby ditch where it flipped over, troopers report.

"John Young Avenue and Princeton is quite a good ways from here, and for them to cross this median and to cross two more lanes of traffic and land in a canal upside down -- there was some speed involved," said OPD Sgt. Vince Ogburn in a report from our news partner WKMG Local 6 News.

Investigators do not know who was driving. Charges in the case are pending.
