St. Petersburg, Florida -- Melanie Barcley remembers watching "Wheel of Fortune" when her two sons were wearing diapers. Her boys are now in their mid-20's. On Tuesday, Barcley will be watching herself on her favorite game show.
Barcley is a contestant on "Wheel of Fortune," airing at 7 pm on 10 News. She's been a fan for more than 30 years, but the effort to get on the show started more than a year ago.
Barcley and one of her sons were among hundreds of people who turned up in December 2012 at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg when the Wheel Mobile rolled in, looking for potential contestants. She made it through three rounds of auditions to get onto the show.
