(USA TODAY) Boy George's first album in 18 years, This Is What I Do, will get its North American release March 25.

Released in October on the U.K., This Is What I Do was called by U.K. newspaper The Guardian called it "the comeback of the year". The album includes guest spots from DJ Yoda, Kitty Durham, Ally McErlaine, MC Spee and Nizar Al Issa.

"I wanted to make a baggy album, not overproduced and I think I have achieved it," the former Culture Club frontman says in a release. "I was listening to things like Beast Of Burden by the Stones, and I had my head most definitely in the 70's. I was also writing from a happy place. This time, no ex-lovers to get revenge on."

Boy George plans to play North American dates in support of the album later in the year.
