The Dali Museum will feature 100 Warhol works in new exhibit running from January through April.
St. Petersburg, Florida -- The Dali Museum announced a new exhibit that will open early next year, featuring the works of Andy Warhol.
Titled "Warhol: Art. Fame. Mortality," the exhibit will explore how Warhol learned from Salvador Dali's public visibility and was equally attuned to the images derived from mass culture, the museum said in a press release.
The exhibit is expected to include about 35 paintings, 20 drawings, 50 photographs and a selection of Warhol films. The works are on loan from The Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh.
The exhibit runs from January 18, 2014 to April 27, 2014.
