A damaged screen has forced Kanye West to postpone the rest of his "Yeezus" tour.
The decision comes after a 60-foot LED screen used during the rapper's shows was damaged "beyond repair." A statement explained that the screen broke while in a truck on the way to Vancouver this week.
The statement said the gear is "central to the staging of The Yeezus Tour, and central to the creative vision put forth by Kanye West and his design team at DONDA. As a result of this event, it is impossible to put on the show and some of the shows on The Yeezus Tour will be postponed until these essential pieces can be reengineered and refabricated. Kanye West will not compromise on bringing the show, as it was originally envisioned and designed, to his fans."
Thursday's show in Vancouver and upcoming gigs in Denver and Minneapolis were postponed. There's no word on when the dates will be rescheduled.
West's outing got under way last month in Seattle with rapper Kendrick Lamar on board as the opener. While on a stop in San Francisco, West proposed to Kim Kardashian.
