(USA TODAY) Her personal life was definitely in the news a lot in the last year. But that isn't what put Angelina Jolie in the No. 1 spot on Forbes' just-released Highest-paid Actresses list.

It's all about the money, money, money.

Jolie pulled in an estimated $33 million in earnings from June 2012 to June 2013. And she is one of the few actresses who can demand more than $15 million a film.

It's $9 million more than Jennifer Lawrence, who takes the No. 2 spot on the list. JLaw had a big 2012, winning the best-actress Oscar forSilver Linings Playbook, and starring in the first movie inThe Hunger Gamesfranchise.

Twilight star Kristen Stewart, who topped the list last year with $34.5 million, ranks third this time around with $22 million. With that giant franchise complete, Stewart's biggest source of income is gone as she turns to smaller films.

In fourth place this year: Jennifer Aniston with $20 million. And in the fifth spot is Emma Stone, who earned $16 million in the past year.
