LONDON (USATODAY.com) -- The royal baby expected by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge is due in July, St James's Palace said on Monday.
In a short statement a representative for the palace said, "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in July."
The palace officials added, "The Duchess's condition continues to improve since her stay in hospital last month."
Last week, Kate Middleton, 31, paid a visit to the National Portrait Gallery in London to unveil her first official portrait to mixed reviews.
Late last year she was released from the hospital after suffering severe morning sickness.
