Tampa, Florida -- Channelside Cinemas has lit up the silver screen for the last time. The owner tells 10 News after years of issues and big screen battles, he's done.

Earlier this month, Stump's Supper Club and Howl at the Moon closed up shop as well.

Channelside Bay Plaza is in bankruptcy and the property which is owned by the Port Authority is set to get a new operator.

Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik is the leading candidate to turn the property around, however, that won't happen soon enough for Channelside Cinemas.

Hooters and Splitsville Bowling Alley are the two big anchors left in Channelside.
