(CBS News) Louis C.K.'s sitcom "Louie" has been renewed for a fourth season, FX announced during the Television Critics Association press tour on Saturday.

C.K.'s critically acclaimed series earned three Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series, but many argue the actor's show was snubbed from the Outstanding Comedy Series category.

C.K.'s stand-up special "Live at the Beacon Theatre" also earned him four nominations.

In a recent interview with the New York Times, the comedian said he felt a little bad about all of his nominations.

"That's a lot of nominations. It feels selfish, because I was really rooting for everybody on my show, so I feel a little selfish."

He also told the paper that he doesn't feel as if  "Louie" got snubbed.

"It's my second season on television. I would have loved to see it nominated, for everybody that works for me. But I don't think I got robbed or something. That's all craziness and I don't believe in that. We're a little show on FX. Anything you get is great."
