Pollo Tropical®, the Caribbean-themed restaurant chain is honoring Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco County teachers and best of all - parents and students win too! The restaurant chain is encouraging people throughout Tampa to rally in support of its teachers and nominate them for the Pollo Tropical Teachers of the Year awards!
A teacher in each county Pollo Tropical serves will be selected by receiving the highest number of nominating votes, and then recognized as that county's Pollo Tropical Teacher of the Year.
The winning teachers will receive Pollo Tropical complimentary coupons valid for Free Pollo Tropical for a Year and a Golden Apple Award!
Additionally, a school in each county that originates the most teacher nominations will win a $500 Pollo Tropical donation to its student activities fund.
Parents can nominate any teacher in any county where Pollo Tropical company-owned restaurants serve by going online at www.PolloTropical.com/MyTeacher.
Nominations must include the teacher's full name, school name, school address, school phone number and the subject and grade taught by the nominated teacher. Nominations will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2013.
