I'm a native of Needham, Mass. and a graduate of Boston University, where I split my time between broadcast journalism and a side job as the school's mascot.

Prior to joining 10 News in 2009, I worked in sports, covering the Georgia Bulldogs for a CBS station in Northeast Georgia, then the football and spring training stories of Southwest Florida for the ABC and NBC affiliates in Fort Myers.

I've won four regional Edward R. Murrow Awards for news and sports reporting, including our national recognition in 2013 for exposing safety issues on youth soccer fields. I've also been honored five times with Emmy Awards for investigative reporting, and the national George Polk Award in 2013 for exposing red light camera abuses.

When not competing for the best investigative stories in Tampa Bay, I dabble in competitive triathlon racing. But I've found more success as a competitive eater, winning more than a dozen pepper-, hot dog-, and tater tot-eating contests.

I'm proud to be in Tampa Bay - a booming metro without many of those big-metro headaches.  Where else can you run alongside dolphins a few blocks from downtown?  Where else can you get six straight months of beautiful weather like we do?  Let's just not talk about those other six months...
