Sun City Center, Florida -- Two deputies and a motorcyclist were rushed to the hospital after a motorcycle crashed into them in the emergency southbound lane of I-75 near Sun City Center during a traffic stop Friday morning.
Hillsborough Sheriff's deputies say around 8 a.m., Master Deputy Chris Davis and Captain Steve Launikitis pulled over Bryan Martinez, who was on a 2005 Suzuki motorcycle, onto the west shoulder of I-75, just north of the Sun City exit ramp.
While the deputies were interviewing Martinez at the back of one of the cruisers, a second motorcycle -- driven by Bryan Edmonston -- drove right into the emergency lane and hit the two deputies who managed to push Martinez out of the way just before the crash.
