Clearwater, Florida - A girl, 11, reported missing in Clearwater, was found alive at an Orlando apartment just before 8 a.m. Friday.
The girl hadn't been since Thursday at 4 p.m., when she left her Clearwater home to go to the movies.
Detectives came and went -- as the hours came and went -- through the night at her house on Missouri Avenue in Clearwater.
"Terror. How can it not be? Your baby, 11 years old, is missing. It was scary, I mean, very scary. It's been a very long night. I just thank God for bringing her back," her father told 10 News.
Finally, at around 8 a.m., detectives brought with them the news this family had been aching all night to hear. Their daughter was safe.
"She is all right. She is in Orlando," the father said.
"The police are holding her right now. And whoever did what they did -- grabbed my little daughter -- I don't know what exactly happened."
Pinellas County detectives say the 11-year-old was found, apparently unhurt, in an Orlando apartment.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued an Amber Alert at around 5:30 a.m. Friday, saying she may be in danger.
Investigators say she had told her family she was going with a relative to see the movie Cowboys and Aliens.
When she didn't come home, her family called that relative, but the relative had no movie plans and no idea what they were talking about.
Through some detective work, Pinellas County deputies suspected the girl was with an unknown male and might be headed to Orlando.
They contacted Orlando Police and, Friday morning, officers checked an address where they believed the pair might be.
The girl was found there and has no visible injuries.
There's no information yet on the identity of the male subject, investigators said.
