PINELLAS PARK, Florida - You may think of shopping when HSN comes to mind, but what you don't know is they do more than sell fashion, home goods, and electronics. HSN cares, and it's proud to partner with Habitat for Humanity on their third home in Pinellas County.
"I'm just filled with excitement and ready to fill this chapter in our life," said new home owner Katrina Piparo.
10 News has been following the build and met the volunteers that helped the Piparo family realize their dream of owning a home.
"We've been working towards this day and building this house and just seeing it through the process for a long time now. It means the world," said Katrina.
Just a few months ago, volunteers were hammering nails in the walls and painting the exterior of the house, but now it's ready to live in and be a home.
In a dedication ceremony, HSN executives gave Katrina and her two young daughters not only a key to their new home, but a key to a brighter future.
"Thank you to Habitat for Humanity and HSN and all the other and wonderful volunteers that dedicated their time and sweat," said Katrina.
