St. Petersburg, Florida -- Inside the classrooms at Lakeview Fundamental Elementary in St. Petersburg you will find some fifth graders hard at work.
But they aren't taking a test. They are busy making a difference in their community. Each year students in the gifted program take part in the "I Care" project. The 10-year-olds come up with ideas on how they can make the world a better place by learning how to serve others.
They don't just learn it, they live it.
