Clearwater Beach, Florida--Head to Clearwater Beach Saturday, August 9th for a free skin cancer exam.
The Moffitt Cancer Center will have its Mole Patrol (a team of skin cancer specialists) at Pier 60 on Clearwater Beach from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Oncologists, dermatologists and nurses will look for any abnormal changes in your skin. Nonmelanoma and melanoma are both related to sun exposure.
Screening slots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Mole Patrol usually screens 200 people for skin cancer.
This is the 12th year Moffitt Cancer Center has offered this free service.
