Clearwater Beach, Florida--Head to Clearwater Beach Saturday, August 9th for a free skin cancer exam.

The Moffitt Cancer Center will have its Mole Patrol (a team of skin cancer specialists) at Pier 60 on Clearwater Beach from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Oncologists, dermatologists and nurses will look for any abnormal changes in your skin. Nonmelanoma and melanoma are both related to sun exposure.

Screening slots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Mole Patrol usually screens 200 people for skin cancer.

This is the 12th year Moffitt Cancer Center has offered this free service.

The Skin Cancer Foundation offers these beach safety tips.
