ORLANDO, Florida (WKMG) -- A man claims to have put Casey Anthony's video diary online to prevent her from profiting from it.

John Briley said he found the video on a pay-per-video website and chose to make it free to the public.

"You're not going to give her any money," said Jon Briley, who claims to have found the video. "She ain't going to make no money off of it right now because, well, you'd have to be an idiot to pay money when you can get it for free and that's why I put it up there."

The video surfaced on YouTube and the Facebook page "Boycott Casey Anthony's Future Earnings."

In the video, Anthony says it was recorded Oct. 13, 2011, and was the first of many video diaries. She said she had already done audio recordings and looked forward to chatting on Skype.

Anthony's attorney said the video was obtained illegally, that she did not post it online and that the video is part of the notes and memoirs she has kept for personal counseling

"My concern is why a webcam instead of a video camera? Why would you ever take the risk of putting it out there on the Internet where it's open season?" said Local 6 legal analyst Mark O'Mara.

Anthony also is seen talking about her new adopted dog, but nowhere in the video does she talk about her daughter Caylee. There are some parts that have been redacted and edited.

"As far as I'm concerned in the video, it says 'I'm in seclusion,'" said Briley. "That's a good place for her to be because I have other ideas where she should be, but that's just my opinion."
