Kevin was born in England and, after moving around a lot when he was young, he and his parents finally settled in the Tampa Bay area. Kevin attended Seminole High School where he played several sports including football and track.
After high school, Kevin attended the University of South Florida where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2003 with a BA in Mass Communications. While he started out in front of the camera reporting and anchoring in college, Kevin quickly found his passion behind the scenes.
Upon graduating, Kevin got his first job as a photojournalist at WRDW, the CBS affiliate, in Augusta, GA. Kevin spent two years in Augusta. The highlight for him was covering Tiger Woods win the Masters in 2004 and then playing the Augusta National during the media tournament.
Kevin's next move took him to Knoxville, TN where he joined WBIR and the Gannett family in 2006. While only in Knoxville for a year, Kevin enjoyed his time there working with some truly amazing and talented people, but one winter was enough for this Florida boy.
In March 2007, Kevin finally came back home joining WTSP as a photojournalist. When considering cities he'd like to work in, the Tampa Bay area was always towards the top of his list. Kevin loves being back in his home town and couldn't be happier.
"I can honestly say that I love my job. My TV journey has taken me on stories around, above, and even under the Tampa Bay area. I get a behind the scenes look at this crazy and wonderful world we live in and get to meet so many different and interesting people and tell their stories. An added bonus is getting to live in such a beautiful place. How could you not love this?"
